GETTING READY TO LEARN

Greetings humans. Today I'm going to tell all of you about my first UED class. The first class is about getting ready to learn. When I entered my university I came to a new place with new environment and meet with new friends. So i need to adapt with new environment by myself without my family. So i need to prepare myself.

1. University VS School

Many things change when we study on another level , sames goes when you are graduate from your kindergarten to your primary school and from primary school to secondary school. Your teachers won’t ask you to do the same thing when you at kindergarten at primary school. These are the difference between university and school life :

In university we live without our parent like before this. Before this all house chores done by our mother but here we need to do it ourself without relaying on other people such as wash our cloth and clean our room. We also need to be independent when making a decision all by ourself and face the risk alone. Most important thing we need is self confident to push us beyond our own ability.  


2.  Independent and courage.

3. Friend is your closest parent

In our live we need to find a good friends who will guide us and help us. In university friends is the person who know us more than other people because they live with us. Your friends is your parent because good friends will share happy and sad moment together with us.

4. Attendance

In every classes lecturer will take your attendance. In every classes lecturer will teach us different thing, give us variety of notes. So, if you miss a class you will miss a topic that the lecturer won’t repeat it again. To recover it back you need to search for another alternative. If we always absent without a reason you can be punish by the university.


5.  Ask Help

As a student sometimes we don’t understand some of the topics that we learn. So, we should ask for help from the lecturer to understand more about the things that we not understand. When we always meet the lecturer to ask for help, this will make our bond with rhe lecturer became stronger.

6. Timetable

Timetable is important to manage our live as a student to manage our time well. It’s also help to prevent your event from clash with other event and cause some problem. 

7.  Reading notes

We need to learn how to take notes effectively so we can get the point without copying all the sentence. So, when we do revision we can read and understand the point easily than reading a paragraph but can’t understand the point. We also can save our time to do revision.
